"This portrait of my husband, Greg V., is a return to the foundations of classical realism. Unlike my 'Persona' works, this piece focuses on the quiet dignity and formal grace found in traditional oil portraiture.
Using a limited 4 color palette and a focus on soft, directional light, I sought to capture the depth of Greg’s character through subtle modeling and refined textures. It is a study in intimacy and permanence—honoring the subject through a timeless technique that emphasizes the enduring bond between artist and sitter. This portrait stands as both a personal tribute and a testament to the power of the classical tradition."
